Quality Engineer


Our client is a successful consumer electronics company with leaders in their industry. Due to growth and expansion in business, they are seeking a Quality Engineer. As part of the QA team, this position will have the responsibility to lead all quality activities including but not limited to:

1) Applies total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes
within each department. Also applies Book of Knowledge from ASQ.
2) Develop procedures, perform failure analysis, disposition of product, resolve quality issues and develop corrective actions.
3) Research non conforming product and performs problem solving to control and improve the quality in the production processes.
4) Develops and maintains control plans and operator instructions.
5) Participates and documents problem solving activities related to quality issues.
6) Uses statistical tools (SPC, DOE, Six Sigma) to improve designs, analyze problems and monitor processes.
7) Perform internal audits and in process and receiving inspection as required.
8) Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material, and devises methods to assess responsibility.
9) Perform design validation inspections using appropriate tools and equipment. Should have good understanding of gauges used for measurement as well as GR&R studies.


Requirements
BS degree; Engineering or Technical preferred.
4
year experience in quality and/or process improvement in a manufacuturing environment.
CQE or Six Sigma certification desired
Excellent communication skills
Ability to problem solve and determine root cause corrective action
Knowledge of APQP, FMEA, PPAP
Good working knowledge of ISO9000 or related standards.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
