Physical Therapy Supervisor I Broughton Hospital is currently accepting applications for a Physical Therapy Supervisor I. This position is responsible for the supervision and administration of a physical therapy department that provides assessment and treatment of clients of Broughton Hospital, an acute care psychiatric facility. The Physical Therapy Supervisor is responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, and administering all activities within the physical therapy department. This work involves the determination of the extent and nature of the physical therapy services needed, implementation of those services and monitoring of the program and services provided. The Physical Therapy Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a department that is compliant with CMS and Joint Commission regulations for an Acute Care Hospital. The employee supervises two direct reporting staff and is responsible for maintaining and supporting the licensing and ongoing education within the department. The employee is also involved in direct care provision. Work is performed under the supervision of the Medical Services Director of the hospital.The work schedule for this position is 8:
00 a.m. - 5:
00 p.m., Monday - Friday; however, flexibility is required for training purposes and to meet hospital needs. This position is designated Mandatory and must report or stay over during adverse weather events. About the Facility:

Kowledge of physical therapy principals, techniques, methods, modalities and their proper application through previous experience. Demonstrated ability to instruct and supervise subordinate staff and personnel. Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with patients, patients' families, nursing, and other professional personnel. Management prefers candidates with the following; Experience working in a psychiatric setting.
